God Defines Himself As Love

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Perhaps it would be better if I were to write God defines love as Himself.

My beloved Michael defined love for me. And I defined love for him. I truly believe we were made by God for each other. We taught each other what love means. I wanted to have at least 20 more years of learning the lessons of love with him beside me, but God had other plans.

I have to remember that God made us out of love. We learn what that means when we grow in love for one another. We will be what we are meant to be when we find eternal love in Heaven.

Until then, most adults, even now, are married. Marriage is the school of love that most of us attend. It is intended to make couples work at loving each other through all the difficulties of life. We don't value what we don't work and sacrifice for, and marriage teaches us to do that in joy. What a blessings that is!
